Paid plans keep working past their records and searches, and the extra is billed with your next invoice, or with the renewal on yearly plans.
- $0.20 per 1,000 extra searches in a month
- $1 per 10,000 extra records, counted by the most held on a day of the billing period
- Each is capped per billing period at the difference to the next plan's price, so going over never costs more than upgrading would.
For example, Starter with 80,000 searches in a month costs $19, plus $6 for 30,000 extra searches. Records in one index are a hard limit on every plan.

What counts as a search.
Counted
- Searches from your servers and from browsers, in a calendar month (UTC).
- Search as you type: each request after a pause in typing.
Free
- Searches our cache answers, such as a popular query repeated.
- “Did you mean” suggestions when a search finds nothing.
- Test searches AI agents run through the MCP server.

How do I pay?
Owners choose a plan under Settings in the dashboard, billed monthly or yearly through our reseller, Polar, which handles VAT and sales tax and sends the invoices.
Can I change plans later?
Yes. A larger plan, or yearly billing, starts at once. A smaller plan starts at renewal, once the workspace fits its indexes and records per index.
What happens at the Free plan's limits?
Writes past its 10,000 records, and searches after the month's 10,000, are refused until the next month or an upgrade. Free never charges overage.
Is there a free trial?
The Free plan is free for as long as you like, with the same API and SDKs as paid plans. Each person can have one workspace on Free; other workspaces start with a paid plan.
How do I cancel?
From the billing portal under Settings, which also has your invoices. The plan runs to the end of the period you've paid for.
How many searches will I need?
About one for each search a visitor makes, and one for each pause in typing with search as you type. Repeats answered from our cache are free, and Settings in the dashboard shows your usage.
